Because of the label and exclusive Precision Fumigation^™ tools and techniques, ProFume^® gas fumigant provides unprecedented options for fumigation planning.

At the heart of Precision Fumigation is the proprietary Fumiguide^® program. Precision Fumigation optimizes fumigation plans by calculating “what if” scenarios based on target pests, exposure time needed, temperature and half-loss time. Each factor can be manipulated to ensure control while, for example, choosing to shorten facility downtime by using more ProFume or opting to reduce overall fumigation costs by extending the duration of the fumigation. Precision Fumigation removes the guesswork from the fumigation process, reducing wasted resources and ensuring a successful, reliable treatment.

Enhanced Quality Assurance

Quality assurance programs can benefit from Precision Fumigation both during and after the fumigation. While the fumigation is underway, the Fumiguide program allows real-time monitoring to ensure results throughout the fumigated space. More fumigant can be added, if needed, due to unexpected weather or facility conditions. Conversely, if less fumigant is required, the fumigation can be concluded earlier than planned. After the treatment concludes, the Fumiguide program can print customized reports and graphs to document quality control or to meet export requirements.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives

The Fumiguide program can create a database to help in-facility improvement efforts. For example, fumigation monitoring may identify areas where structural sealing improvements are needed. If improvements are made, a tighter facility will require less fumigant or shorter exposure times on subsequent fumigations.
